The formula is built upon a high concentration of five different hydrosols, which serve as the primary hydrating base. Vetiver Root Hydrosol (13%) provides a grounding, cooling effect that helps balance the skin's pH. This is complemented by the traditional soothing and toning properties of Rose Flower Hydrosol (12%). Neroli Flower Hydrosol (11%) assists in managing oil levels while calming the complexion, working alongside Marigold Flower Hydrosol (11%), known for its gentle, protective care, especially for sensitive skin. Completing the base, Lavender Flower Hydrosol (10%) offers both calming benefits and a subtle, soothing aroma.
A significant portion of the formula is dedicated to clarifying and toning the skin. The presence of Meadowsweet Extract (7%) and White Willow Bark Extract (6%) is key, as both contain natural salicylic acid derivatives, providing gentle chemical exfoliation to clarify pores and offer an astringent effect. The Peppermint Leaf Hydrosol (9%) further aids this by providing an invigorating, cooling tone. For targeted clarification and antimicrobial support, Tea Tree Oil (0.5%) is included, while Cypress Oil (0.6%) contributes additional astringent properties to refine and tone the skin's appearance.

Despite being a largely water-based product, a small percentage of beneficial plant oils is included to nourish the skin barrier without feeling heavy. Jojoba Seed Oil (2%) is chosen for its close resemblance to human sebum, ensuring balanced, non-comedogenic moisture. The light and high linoleic acid content of Grape Seed Oil (2%) further aids the skin barrier. For concentrated repair, Rosehip Seed Oil (2%) delivers essential fatty acids and Vitamin A to support skin regeneration.
